6th grade + ancient Egypt = a mummy-making masterpiece! Students learned about mummification and got creative with their own mini-mummies. Learning + fun = win. 🧻✨

📚✨ Yesterday our 1st grade book club had an exciting day! As we continued reading Nate the Great, the kids became little detectives 🕵️‍♀️🕵️‍♂️ and learned how to write their very own secret messages 🔍✉️. It was a fun way to spark creativity, build problem-solving skills, and grow a love for reading! 💡❤️

✨ Baking and learning go hand in hand in Mrs. Johnson’s Kindergarten class! 🧑‍🍳📚 Our little chefs mixed, measured, and learned along the way — proving that hands-on fun is the best way to grow. 🍪❤️ #KindergartenFun #LearningByDoing

Bazaar Raffle Winners

🎶 Yesterday our students had the exciting opportunity to learn about the church organ for the very first time during music class! They were fascinated by the many keys and pipes, and even got to try making a little music themselves. What a beautiful way to experience both learning and joy in God’s house! 🙌❤️ A heartfelt thank you to Randy Edelhuber for taking the time to show the students around and answer all the many questions.

👓💛 A huge thank you to the Lions Club for donating their time and care to provide vision screenings for our students! We are so grateful for your dedication to our children’s health and well-being. 🙌✨

📚🔍 Our first grade reading club had their very first meeting last week! Students enjoyed lunch together in the library, read the opening pages of Nate the Great, and even made their own detective badges. What a fun start to our reading adventure! ✨

🌟 Our hallways are looking extra bright and welcoming thanks to our amazing teachers and students🌟 These bulletin boards and art projects aren’t just cute—they’re full of creativity, learning, and love for our students. 💙📚 We are so proud of the hard work our teachers and students put in to make our school feel like home.

🎉🦁 AR is Roaring at St. Joseph! 🦁🎉 We’re so excited to kick off our Accelerated Reader (AR) goals for this school year! Each 9 weeks, students set reading goals and track their progress. As they reach 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%, they get to move their lion on our “Roaring Into Reading” board. 👏 Today, we celebrated our very first student reaching 25% of their goal—and they proudly placed their lion on the board! This is just the beginning, and we can’t wait to see our lions ROAR across the board as more students dive into reading and achieve their goals! 📚✨ Let’s cheer on all of our readers—this year is going to be GREAT for AR! 🦁💜💛

📚💫 A huge thank you to Kassie Misiewicz with Tiny Toy Tales for visiting us and bringing the story Trashy Town to life with her fun and interactive storytelling! Our students had such a wonderful time engaging with the story and experiencing the joy of reading in a whole new way. 💙✨

✨ A big success for our very first 4H Club meeting!✨ The club met last Wednesday and everyone had a blast. Thank you to Sarah Enoch, County Agent with Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service for coming out and leading the session, and to our amazing teachers Abby Schluterman and Megan Elder who stepped up to head this new project.
