Happy Summer

Our 1st and 2nd graders explored three-dimensional shapes by finding them in the world around them and putting their creativity to work! Using recycled materials, students designed and built geometric castles while identifying shapes and learning about their faces, edges, and vertices. Hands-on learning made geometry fun as students combined creativity, problem-solving, and math skills!

🎉📚 Reading pays off! 🕹️
Students who met their AR goals for 3 or 4 semesters this school year celebrated with a trip to Daddio’s Arcade today! We’re so proud of their hard work, dedication, and love of reading. 💙
A big thank you to Mary Jo for taking us to and from so we didn’t have to walk in the rain! ☔❤️

We were excited to welcome local business owners Deacon Tom Pohlmeier, Lacey Davis of Davis Tire & Auto and Custom Kitchenwares, Rod Lovan of Stirling Soap and Roastery, and Andy Kiefer of Daddios to speak with our students!
They shared about their businesses, why they chose entrepreneurship, and offered valuable advice on becoming successful business owners and dependable employees. We are so thankful for community members who invest their time and wisdom into our students and help inspire future leaders!

100% participation. 100% goal achievement. 100% pizza-worthy. 🍕📚🎉
Our 3rd & 4th graders ALL met their 4th quarter AR goals, so we celebrated the best way we know how—with pizza outside in the sunshine! ☀️
So proud of these amazing readers! 🦁📖

Our 5th–8th grade students recently wrapped up an exciting economics and entrepreneurship project! Students learned about the economy, goods and services, supply and demand, population needs, human skills, natural resources, advertising, and competition. They then applied those skills to create their own businesses and design promotional flyers.
We were honored to invite several community leaders to judge the projects and help determine which businesses would be most successful in Paris, AR. After much deliberation, the winners were:
🏆 Emma Raper — Rise and Dine Restaurant
🏆 Gabe Perrault — Gabe’s Bait and Tackle Shop
Both students received gift cards to local businesses as prizes, helping continue support for our community! We are so proud of all of our students for their creativity, hard work, and entrepreneurial thinking!
A special thank you to our judges for taking the time to encourage and support our students: Mayor Daniel Rogers, Sheriff Jason Massey, Karey Sparks, local business owner, Danielle Barham, Director of Main Street Paris, and Tonya Fletcher, Executive Director of the Chamber of Commerce. We appreciate your investment in our students and our community!

Today we celebrated our Awards Ceremony and recognized the hard work, growth, leadership, and accomplishments of our students throughout the school year. We are so proud of each student for the effort they have put in both inside and outside the classroom. Congratulations to all of our award recipients! Thank you to our teachers, families, and school community for supporting our students every step of the way. 🎉🏅📚

We had such a special visit today at St. Joseph Catholic School! 📚✨
Local author Kayla Patterson joined our PreK–2nd grade classes to share the book she wrote, and our students loved every minute of it. There’s nothing better than seeing young readers inspired by someone from our own community!
Thank you, Kayla, for taking the time to pour into our students and spark a love of reading. 💛📖

Our 5th Grade Book Club brought The Lemonade War to life in the best way!
Students created their own lemonade recipes, calculated cost per cup and profit, designed posters, and even ran their own lemonade stand. They worked together to make real-world connections and practiced teamwork every step of the way.
As a group, they discussed how to use their profits and chose to give back to Fur Get Me Not—showing kindness and compassion beyond the classroom. We are so proud of their hard work and big hearts!
Thank you to everyone who supported the lemonade stand! Your kindness and encouragement helped make it a sweet success!
