7-8 Religion helped Deacon Pohlmeier to build a fire to burn the blessed chrism oil. They enjoyed the sweet smell of the oil when they helped him retrieve it from the sacristy. He explained the process of how new oil will be blessed by priests during a special Mass this Easter season to be used by our churches. They also discussed the two ways to dispose of blessed items.

Happy Feast of St. Joseph to our followers! We celebrated our patron today by attending Mass, giving recognition to all those who are named Joseph in attendance today, and by gathering to eat delicious donuts and cinnamon rolls. It was a good day!

We appreciate Ken Hart for arranging the repair of our school sign! Kury Electric completed the work and it looks great!

This Friday, the kindergarten classroom kitchen is baking a delightful chocolate cake that's sure to bring smiles. 😊

Our church hosted this week's Lenten Luncheon. The school choir provided a short program of Lenten themed songs. Great job by our teachers and students!

Mrs. Snyder's 7-8th grade wrote letters to city officials that expressed interest in areas of improvement for our town. These letters were so relevant and well written that our Mayor Daniel Rogers, our Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Tonya Fletcher, and our Main Street director Danielle Barham asked to speak with our students about their concerns and ideas for our town's future development. Our students enjoyed the visit so much!

Application packets can be emailed or picked up in the school office.
