Feast of St. Nicholas was a busy, busy day! Mass, 7th Grade Cultures Presentations (food included), 5-6th Social Studies Olympics, treat bags with golden chocolate coins in our shoes, and kindergarten learned to make salt dough ornaments. Our teachers are fantastic. God is good all the time. Wow!

Happy Feast Day of St. Nicholas of Bari to our St. Joseph School families. Here are three examples of his portrayal through artwork.
Putting our shoes in the hallway tomorrow to receive a treat!

Reminder

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Thanks to these two for rescuing me today from this tree! Looks pretty!

Thanks again to David Raper for restoration of the train and to Leslie for always making sure it is decorated. Shout out to PTO President Trudi Gatewood for organizing students to be riders. Last, thanks to the Paris Chamber of Commerce and all the volunteers for this annual event that means so much to our community! It was wonderful!

Reminder!
Saturday's Vigil Mass- 5:00 pm
Sunday- St. Joseph School Choir sings and students participate in the Mass.

Logan County Museum
Thanks for being so kind to our students today!

Mrs. Snyder's Social Studies classes walked down to the Logan County Museum on a crisp Fall day. They were able to see everyday items used during the Civil War time period. We wonder what was typed on that typewriter, and the students were able to try on some clothing too.

Thanks to our PTO for seeing that our community's children get to ride the St. Joseph School Train during the Christmas season. Special thanks to Mr. David Raper for renovating the train so that it is better than ever! See you on the Square!

Students shopping at the Student Council School Store.

The pies were delivered today and who doesn't love to look at a big truck! Thank you Ms. Abby and Josh Parsons for arranging a truck driving experience for our 3 year olds.

7-8th created movie posters about their novels! They enjoyed popcorn to give them a movie experience.

Why should pre-schoolers have all the fun!? Mrs. Snyder's 7-8th grade literacy completed their novel study by turning a turkey into a character from the novel.

Fifth and sixth grade studied Greek mythology by playing a guessing game. Mrs. Snyder always incorporates fun activities that provide movement!

Mrs. Snyder's Social Studies classes learning dances from other cultures.

Finished up our kinetic sculptures today!

Problem solving our kinetic sculptures inspired by Calder today in 5-6 art class.

Artist Jim Dine inspired collective artwork by grades 1-2.

Let's do it again next year!
