Fire Safety at St. Joseph! A big THANK YOU to the Paris Fire Department for stopping by St. Joseph Catholic School to teach our students about fire prevention and fire safety! We are so grateful for the time you spent with our students and for everything you do to help keep our community safe.

DADS! We need you, this Saturday morning at 8am. We are replacing the old mulch under the monkey bars with fresh pea gravel that meets regulations for fall safety. Jeremy Taylor is the head of this project and will be leading the way Saturday morning. If you have a shovel and a trailer or truck bed that could be used to haul away mulch we ask that you please help out. The new pea gravel will be delivered Tuesday, October 20th. Please reach out to him or the office to let us know if you can help. Thank you!

We are going through our reaccreditation process this year. Part of that process is to survey parents. The survey results are analyzed by ANSAA, which is the governing accreditation board. The School Board then receives the results as well and takes necessary action from there. Please fill out the survey at your earliest convenience: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/SJCSParisSelfStudySurvey

Pet Blessing at St. Joseph Catholic School–Paris 🐾 This past Friday, our students enjoyed a special Blessing of the Pets! We loved seeing all of the wonderful pets our students brought to share with our school family. A special thank you to Deacon Tom Pohlmeier for taking the time to bless our students’ beloved pets and remind us of the joy and love God’s creatures bring into our lives. May God bless all of our furry, feathered, and four-legged friends! ✝️

The rain is holding off! We WILL be doing Pet Blessing at 1pm. See you soon!

Rain Out Plan: If we have to cancel the Pet Blessing due to rain, we will move it to Monday at 2:30. Please watch for updates on the app. Don't forget we have early release at 1:30 tomorrow!

Tomorrow we have our pet blessing at 1pm. Parents may bring pets at 1 to be blessed and students may bring a stuffed animal to be blessed as well. Also, students may wear jeans with their school t-shirt. Dress code still applies. Our students are growing quickly! Please check that shorts and skirts are within dress code: no shorter than 4 inches from the top of the knee. If you have any belts that your children have outgrown, we would love to have them for the days students forget!

Homemade Applesauce Fun! Our Kindergarten students had a sweet time making homemade applesauce today!
