Parrot Island Splash-Out 2025

Much appreciation to Ms. Helms for planning and overseeing our Parrot Island Splash Out Family Day. We also want to extend our gratitude to Parrot Island for always being a fun and safe family experience!

Kindergarten students are bringing home their paintings today! We hope parents enjoy looking through them as much as Mrs. Johnson had creating them with her students.

Thank you Mrs. Johnson for making our students feel like royalty!

Graduation Mass and Reception 2025

Thank you PTO for the wonderful celebration of Sharon's 20 years as our school secretary. We also appreciate the people who stopped by today to show their love for her. We will all miss her so much! She has always been a gracious presence for anyone who came into or called the office and a stabilizing force for our school. Each child was treated with kindness and respect whether it was doctoring an ever present skinned knee or they just wanted a moment. Fridays were a rush to Mrs. Pohlmeier's office for after the bell candy! The faculty and staff were always given exactly what they needed whether it be a listening ear, added to the prayer list, or some words of motivation or encouragement. I can't say enough about what she did for myself or countless other principals. She's an even keel in the school storm. It truly will not be the same without Mrs. Pohlmeier! Congratulations Sharon and we wish you all the best! Never goodbye, we will see you around the Parish!

Come celebrate Sharon's retirement from St. Joseph School!

A shoutout to our PTO who did a fantastic job this week of making our teachers feel loved! Our PTO works hard throughout the year to support us through fundraising efforts and special events. We appreciate all you do for our school.

Next year's kindergartners made green Play-dough! Science is fun in Mrs. Johnson's classroom kitchen.

Yesterday was Mrs. Johnson's natural plant dyes day! The students learn how to make natural dyes that they will use to dye their silk capes for imaginative play. Each student receives a hand crafted crown and cape from her at the end of the year. Don't worry, we'll take pictures of all the joyful faces when they don their capes and crowns!

Thanks so much to Shelter Insurance, Paris, AR, Jimmy Pannell for the sweet "Rise and Shine" treats for our teachers. We truly feel appreciated!

Thank you PTO for planning Teacher Appreciation Week. We were given these precious succulent candles and a variety of creamers and coffees for our coffee center on Monday and today August Finney's grandmother is treating us to Casey's Pizza.

Graduation Mass is scheduled for May 18th, 9:00 am, St. Joseph Church.
"I know the plans I have for you", declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you, and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Ms. Abby's bulletin board is so cute! What a special experience our students have in her classroom.

Deacon Tom Pohlmeier offered a blessing of Fr. Polycarp's journey to Uganda today at the end of school Mass. We pray he has a safe journey and a peaceful and joyful time with his family. God is good!
