Admissions
We accept applications for admission year-round. In accordance with the policies of the Diocese of Little Rock and the State of Arkansas, admission requirements are as follows:

Kindergarten: "According to diocesan regulation, no child shall be admitted to the kindergarten unless he/she has attained the age of five (5) on or before September 1 of such school year." (Diocesan Handbook 2.01)

First Grade: "According to Diocesan regulation, no child shall be admitted to the first grade unless he/she has attained the age of six (6) on or before September 1 of such school year." (Diocesan Handbook 2.02)

Arkansas State Law also requires all pupils entering kindergarten or first grade to present an OFFICIAL BIRTH CERTIFICATE from the Office of Vital Statistics. Catholics are to present a BAPTISMAL CERTIFICATE also. IMMUNIZATION CERTIFICATES will be required for all students entering school for the first time and those who transfer from other schools.

Registration fee of $100 and Supply fee of $100 is due by July 1.
Lunches will be $3.00 per day. Reduced lunches are $1.00 per day. Pre-K morning juice is $.50 per day.
Extra milk is $.40 per carton. Billed monthly for the prior month.
After School Care is available at $1.75 per half hour. Billed monthly for the prior month.
St Joseph Family Tuition Rate is subsidized by St. Joseph Church. St. Benedict Church also provides subsidy money.
Financial Aid IS available. Non-Subsidized Financial Aid will be processed through FACTS Management System this year.

Immunization Requirements
The minimum immunization requirements for entry into school, regardless of grade, are three doses of Diphtheria/Tetanus/Pertussis (DPT) or Diphtheria/Tetanus (DT), three doses of polio vaccine, a Rubeola (measles) vaccine, and a Rubella (German Measles) vaccine. One dose of DTP and the polio vaccine must be given after the fourth birthday. Both measles vaccines must have been administered on or after the first birthday. Mumps vaccine, although not required by law, is strongly encouraged.
As of January 1, 2001, three doses are required before completing the school year for all Kindergarten and transfer students. One dose of Varicella (chicken pox) must have been administered on or after the first birthday. One dose is required for all Kindergarten students. A parent/guardian or physician history of disease may be accepted in lieu of vaccine.
